St Giles is a beautiful small church dating from medieval times, with a Norman font, pretty stained glass windows, and richly decorated chancel.   It is in need of some restoration (due to commence early 2017) and fundraising by the entire local community has been ongoing for the past few years.  It is a focal point for the village of Little Torrington, with regular weekly services and several annual special events.

There are many families represented in St Giles' churchyard.  If you would like more information or wish to research your family history through the gravestones, please contact PCC Secretary, Pat Grimwood-Taylor,   [email protected]
